Physical Therapy Aide
Come join our patient care team in Indianapolis to enhance your education experience and prepare for a career in Physical Therapy! Body One Physical Therapy is an Indianapolis based, outpatient physical therapy private practice. We are currently looking for a part-time employee or intern to assist our clinicians with the daily flow of patient care.
For fall 2026 (beginning in August) we need students who are available in the in both our Zionsville and North Meridian locations.
We utilize our PT Aides in many ways to help provide our patients with high-quality care and ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible. Some of these tasks include:
- Assisting with patients beginning or ending their appointment by bringing them back to a treatment room or helping them complete exercises directed by their therapist
- Ensuring great communication with the patient about their care, progress, and next steps
- Coordinating communication between the front office and the clinical staff
- Maintaining the gym and treatment rooms
- Ordering supplies and stocking treatment rooms
- Helping to schedule patients for follow up appointments and following up to ensure they complete their full plan of care
This position is perfect for an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and/or rehabilitation services. A background in athletic training or exercise physiology is beneficial but not required for application. Applicants need to be proactive, responsible, professional, and have excellent communication skills. This position will also meet the requirements for most health and science internships.
