Student Filming Assistant

Student Filming Assistants are responsible for assisting the coaching staff, specifically the Video Coordinator. By working with the Video Coordinator, they are able to build an understanding of both the video equipment and the uploading process so they can assist when called upon. They are to be available for every practice, home games (and away games as assigned), and any other team events as noted by their supervisors. Student Filming Assistants must be communicative and organized with their time management daily to ensure all facets are able to be filmed as requested by the coaching staff. The more they are around the field and office, the more they will learn and be able to assist with compiling cutups, assisting the Quality Control staff with film uploads and inputs, and more. It is preferred that Student Filming Assistants have prior videography and/or football experience to understand what they are capturing at a deeper level. Later in the onboarding packet, filming will be broken down to ensure all members of the Student Internship Pipeline understand the basics of videography.
