Description
Primary responsibility is for the timely, accurate and efficient fulfillment of Answers in Genesis E-commerce orders and shipping of inventory. Also accountable for other warehouse operational areas during the absence of leadership.
This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
- Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
- Uphold the Quality Service Standards of Safety, Hospitality, Presentation, and Efficiency.
- Collaborate daily with team to development a SERVE culture.
- Support and promote Answers in Genesis, Creation Museum, and Ark Encounter Mission and Core Values
- Manage day-to-day operations of the AiG E-commerce fulfillment team including training
- Utilize and train volunteers to help meet needs
- Generates and makes appropriate adjustments to warehouse orders from AiG’s website
- Pull, pack, check, and ship AiG E-commerce resource orders
- Ensure accurate tagging and pricing of inventory
- Always keep work area clean and neat
- And all other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
- Flexible schedule: Must work at least two nights per week and every 3rd Sunday
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
- Proficiency with Word and Excel
- Must be able to stand and move about for the entire length of shift, bend, and lift to 75 pounds.
Education & Experience
- Two years of related experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
