Java JavaEE Developer

Menands, NY 12204

100% Onsite / 5 days a week

40 hours per week

onsite presence is non-negotiable**

**Key Services & Responsibilities:**

- Ongoing maintenance and performance optimization of the healthcare application

- Development of enhancements including reports and security assessments

- Research and documentation of technical designs

- Programming solutions and writing/executing unit test plans

- Research, resolution, and testing of application defects

- Customer technical support and cross-team collaboration

- Review of business requirements documentation with technical manager to ensure clarity in technical implementation

- Implementation of systems and program design to meet complex business needs

- Creation of program code and technical documentation

- Development of time estimates and task planning with technical manager

- Coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation of highly complex programs

- Development of complex test plans to verify program logic

- Troubleshooting complex end-user technical issues and leading solutions

- Implementation of release management processes, including promotion, testing, and release through development environments

- Coordination with infrastructure staff on technical deployment steps

**Mandatory Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent from an accredited institution (copy of degree must be submitted)

- 4 years of experience with all facets of the software development process (research, design, programming, testing, implementation)

- 4 years of experience with Java framework and technology (Spring Boot, Java EE including servlet, JPA, etc.)

- 4 years of experience with relational database platforms and technology (e.g., Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL)

- 4 years of experience in design, implementation, and deployment of Single Page Web Applications (preferably Angular and Typescript)

- 4 years of experience with SPA fundamental concepts (component-based architecture, dynamic rendering, asynchronous programming)

- 4 years of experience in REST API design and implementation with strong knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization

- 4 years of experience with Git version control operations and branching strategies

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and automation technology
