What You'll Do
As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll make a meaningful impact by helping children develop the communication skills they need to succeed at home, school, and in everyday life.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths and needs.
- Provide engaging, evidence-based, play-centered therapy.
- Collaborate with families to encourage carryover outside of therapy.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Mental Health providers, physicians, educators, and other professionals.
- Monitor client progress and update treatment goals as appropriate.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities.

- AAC evaluations and intervention
- Childhood Apraxia of Speech

- Feeding and oral motor disorders

QualificationsRequired
- Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children and families
Preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Pediatric experience
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, AAC, Gestalt Language Processing, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, feeding therapy, or early intervention
