GROUP LEADER - Roosevelt School

As a Group Leader you will oversee children in the YWCA of Central Massachusetts' after school program at the Roosevelt School in Worcester, 2:00pm - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining an environment which includes a balance of social, recreational and structured activities and where children can learn and grow, interact comfortably with adults, and participate in individual and group activities.
  • Supervising children in play and structured activities.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for children, performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Communicating with parents on a daily basis regarding progress of their child, participating in parent activities as appropriate, and working with School Age Site Coordinator in working with families who are in need of intervention.
