Supervising Pharmacist – Full Time

Prime Pharmacy | Sunnyside, Queens, NY

Prime Pharmacy is an established independent community pharmacy located in Sunnyside, Queens. We have proudly served our community for over 10 years and are looking for a full-time Supervising Pharmacist to join our team.

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and personable pharmacist who enjoys working in a community pharmacy setting and is interested in building a long-term relationship with our patients and staff.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted New York State Pharmacist license
  • Eligible to serve as Supervising Pharmacist in New York State
  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with NYS and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Accurately review and dispense prescriptions
  • Provide patient counseling and medication guidance
  • Communicate with prescribers and insurance companies when necessary
  • Supervise and work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and support staff
  • Maintain appropriate pharmacy records, inventory, and controlled-substance procedures
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills
  • Independent/community pharmacy experience preferred

Position: Full-Time Supervising Pharmacist
Compensation: Competitive; based on experience
Start Date: October 2026
