Staff Training: May 23 - June 5 (2 weeks)
Camp: June 6 - Aug 7 (9 weeks)
What You'll Do
- Serve campers and staff during store open hours, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Restock retail inventory, organize product displays, and maintain clean store and storage areas daily.
- Print, fill, and deliver care package orders, course supplies, and cabin requests.
- Track inventory records, submit purchase orders, prepare weekly camper accounts, and print name tags.
- Guide campers on daily schedules, activity choices, rule adherence, and facility cleanliness.
- Apply positive guidance techniques to support campers' emotional and behavioral needs.
- Complete daily store logs, attend staff meetings, and model professional behavior during parent check-ins.

What We'll Provide
- Competitive Pay: Starting salary of $4,050 for the 11-week summer season.

- Professional Certifications: Opportunities for additional leadership training and certifications for qualified candidates.
- Schedule: Position requires availability on-site 7 days a week (including weekends) for the contract period. To support rest and work-life balance, staff receive two 1-hour breaks each day and 1 scheduled day off every week.
What We’re Looking For
- High School diploma required.
- Passion for science, animals, retail operations, and childhood development.
- Self-motivated individual able to manage tasks and goals independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong core competencies in constructive communication, active listening, customer service, and teamwork.
- Comfortable working in an active outdoor camp environment, walking up to 3 miles daily on uneven terrain, and working around animals (including snakes, spiders, and lizards).
- Desire to positively impact the life of a child and put campers' needs first.
